Great Lakes Institute of Management has a new campus, 50 km away from Chennai. The new green campus is located on 18-acre land on the East Coast Road, near Mahaballipuram. This new building has a residential campus with the state-of-the art facilities like eco-friendly, energy saving and maintenance free concepts. This LEED Platinum rated green campus is one of its kind in India. The campus is 100% day-lit, recycles all its water and waste, uses a lot of reused and recycled products.
Commenting on naming the green campus, Jamshyd Godrej, CMD, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd said, “It is a momentous occasion to be part in the making of history. Great Lakes through its vision of creating green campus and its aspiration of becoming platinum rated green campus has truly taken the Indian education system to the next paradigm.”
