Dhirubhai Ambani- Stanford Fellowship 2010 announced

The same time of the year has come again. Reliance Industries Limited has announced its much awaited Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowhip 2010-2011. This is awarded to Indian nationals who justify the need for pursuing an MBA at Stanford GSB but can not arrange the required financial funding.
Award: 100% tuition cover and all fees associated with applying to and attending the program; this is approximately $85,000 for a single student and $95,000 for a married student
Expectations: Reliance expects the fellows to return to India within two years of graduating from Stanford and work in India for at least next two years.
Number of awards: Up to 5
Requirements:
1. You should be an Indian citizen (living in India) and must be either studying or working in India to apply for this scholarship
2. The finalists will be selected based upon their merit, commitment to developing India and financial need
3. You must apply in Round 1 of the 2011 Stanford MBA Program application submission period; which is usually in early October
4. You need to write an essay of up to 250 words on the topic - How do you aspire to shape your country’s future?
Deadline for application submission: June 1, 2010
